Camper Vans at Sidmouth Cricket Club during Sidmouth Folk Festival 2018

Open from - We are of course weather dependent, but provided the weather is OK, we will open the ground for parking from around 7.00pm on Thursday August 2nd after the cricket has finished.

End of parking – We ask that all Camper Vans leave the ground by 10am on Saturday 11th August as cricket commences at 12.00pm.

Parking– Please park centrally between the white lines. They are there for a reason to ensure space for fire regulations. Camper vans will be parked on the Southern perimeter and at the bottom on the Western and Eastern sides of the ground. Also they can be located by the tennis courts for disabled customers by request. People parking for all 9 nights will be offered the prime slots overlooking the sea. Priority will be given to our regular visitors if demand exceeds supply.

Cost - £60 per night or £450 for all 9 nights. (Please note that Sidmouth CC make a substantial donation to the Festival Committee each year from our parking revenue to ensure the Festival continues).

Awnings – Strictly no awnings or tents either between campers (Fire Regulations) or at the end of vans (Access and damaging grass)

Showers – These are available in the Pavilion. The Pavilion will be open from early morning to at least 10pm in the evening.

Toilets – These are available in the Pavilion. Toilet paper stocks will be checked every morning.

Drinking Water – There is a drinking water outside tap on the Tennis Court side of the Pavilion.

Sewage – There is a manhole cover at the side of the Pavilion where sewage can be disposed of together with a tap (not drinking water) to clean containers.

Bad weather – In the event of bad weather, once vans are parked, please keep traffic movements to a bare minimum. You will then be very popular with our Groundsman!

Bar and food – The bar will be open from 12.00pm to late every day. Food will be served in the Pavilion Dining Room throughout the Festival. Our Bar Manager is Julie and our Caterer is Gill.

Dogs – Dogs are permitted but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and that dog waste is disposed of in a thoughtful and hygienic manner. No dogs are allowed in the Pavilion.

Car Parking – Cars can be parked on the ground for £10 a day – These prices reduce down as the day progresses to £5 and then £3 if quiet.

Problems – If you have a problem that cannot be answered by a helper on the ground please call Mike Dibble on 07770 798250
